PAN Hemingway’s Garden of Eden – A dramatic adaptation of the Ernest Hemingway novel directed by John Irvin and starring Jack Huston, Mena Suvari, and Caterina Murino which is set during the jazz age just prior to the depression and tells the story of a restless wife who pushes her husband to the limit during their European vacation. Even with a premise written by one of the greatest American authors, Hemingway’s Garden of Eden manages to be a barrel full of “blah” and highly forgettable.
“A borderline terrible movie that plays like a parody of a Hemingway story.” ~Robert W. Butler
